Tremetes Versicolor is more commonly known as Turkey Tail mushroom as it resembles a turkeys tail as pictured above. It is an inedible medicinal mushroom full of antioxidants and other beneficial compounds.

What’s more a certain type of polysaccharide called Coriolus Versicolor Glucan (CVG) may suppress certain tumours.
A study in tumour baring mice found that treatment with 45.5mg and 90.9mg per pound or 100 and 200mg per kg of bofy weight of CVG extracted from Turkey Tail mushrooms daily significantly reduced tumour size.
