Wild Chaga

Inonotus Obliquus is better known as Chaga – The King of Mushrooms, so it’s easy to understand why there has been such an increasing interest as to what the health benefits of Chaga are.  

Chaga is mostly found in the upper Northern Hemisphere where the temperature is generally lower like Russia, Northern Europe, Scotland, Scandinavia, Canada and certain mountainous areas of North America .  It mainly grown on birch trees, but can also be found ash, elm, beech, alder and some other species. 

The Chaga conk is an irregular parasitical growth that seems to burst out of the trunk like and eruption in slow motion.

This fungi has traditionally been used to treat a variety of health conditions from depression to cancer, and its uses have been documented for centuries.
